Our Mission

Who We Are

Revved Up Majic was created to open doors for young people who don’t always thrive in traditional learning environments. Founded by husband-and-wife team LaToya and Dan Ringo, the organization grew from a shared belief that every child deserves access to meaningful opportunities, hands-on learning, and exposure to real-world careers—especially in the skilled trades.

Too many students are overlooked because their talents don’t fit neatly into a classroom box. Revved Up Majic exists to change that narrative by creating nontraditional, engaging spaces where youth can explore trades, build confidence, and see viable futures for themselves. Through industry exposure, mentorship, and experiential learning, we help young people connect their interests to purpose and possibility.

LaToya Ringo brings years of experience in education, training, and youth advocacy, with a passion for empowering families and creating systems that truly support children. Dan Ringo III, a second-generation business owner in the automotive and trades industry, provides real-world expertise and a deep commitment to legacy, craftsmanship, and community impact. Together, they lead Revved Up Majic with a shared vision: to inspire, equip, and uplift the next generation by meeting them where they are—and showing them what’s possible.

Igniting Potential Through Skilled Trades

Revved Up Majic exists to ignite potential in young people by introducing them to skilled trades, technical careers, and hands-on learning experiences that traditional classrooms often overlook. We create innovative, real-world pathways where youth—especially those who learn differently—can discover their talents, build confidence, and envision meaningful futures.

Through mentorship, industry partnerships, and experiential programs, Revved Up Majic connects students with professionals, tools, and opportunities that lead to workforce readiness, economic mobility, and lifelong purpose. Our mission is not only to teach skills, but to cultivate character, resilience, and a sense of belonging.

With the support of donors and sponsors, we are building a pipeline of skilled, motivated young people who will strengthen our communities, fill critical workforce gaps, and carry forward a legacy of craftsmanship, integrity, and innovation.

Our vision is a diverse, inclusive pipeline of future technicians, builders, innovators, and entrepreneurs who drive economic growth, strengthen families, and transform their communities.

Through collaboration with schools, industry leaders, and supporters, we seek to reshape how society views education, opportunity, and talent—so that no child is overlooked and every gift is put to work.

Dan Ringo III

Dan Ringo III is the President of Revved Up Majic and a lifelong advocate for the skilled trades. A graduate of Southfield High School, Dan went on to attend Alabama A&M University, carrying with him an early and enduring passion for hands-on learning and craftsmanship. At just 25 years old, Dan opened his own collision repair shop, proudly following in the footsteps of his highly respected father and continuing a family legacy rooted in hard work, integrity, and excellence. What began as a trade quickly became a calling. Dan is deeply disheartened by the declining participation in skilled trades and is committed to helping spark a resurgence—especially among young people who may not thrive in traditional classroom settings. As someone who learned differently as a child, Dan found that skilled trades offered him power, purpose, and freedom. That experience fuels his dedication to creating opportunities for today’s youth to discover their own strengths through alternative pathways. Through Revved Up Majic, Dan is determined to open doors, change narratives, and ensure the trades remain a respected and viable option for future generations.
